Server log files
When you open a page, the web server records your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the HTTP status, the amount of data sent, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used only to run the site securely and to find errors and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Hosting
The site runs on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, which processes the data above on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The data stays in the EU.
Data stored in your browser
Your favourite motors, motors you add yourself and your light/dark display choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are not sent to us. They are only saved because you ask for it, so no consent banner is needed (§ 165(3) TKG 2021). You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Fonts
All fonts are served from this server. No font service such as Google Fonts is contacted.
Shop logos
In a motor's price list, the logos of some shops are loaded directly from that shop's website. When that happens, your browser sends your IP address and user-agent to the shop, as with any image from another site. We receive nothing from this.
Links to shops (affiliate links)
Following a link to a shop takes you to that shop's website. Its own privacy policy applies from then on. If the link is an affiliate link, the shop or its affiliate network may set a cookie or similar identifier on its own site so that a purchase can be credited to RubberQuads. We do not learn who you are or what you buy; at most we receive reports of commissions earned.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to info@rubberquads.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, www.dsb.gv.at.
